As a widely used noise suppression product, the SMD magnetic beads are made of soft ferrite materials and have good EMI suppression performance in the frequency range of MHz to GHz. Miniaturization and lightweight are its outstanding advantages, besides, it has good solderability and heat resistance. The rated current of high-current multilayer chip ferrite bead can reach 6A, some of them can even reach 9A. This type of ferrite bead can be installed at high density, and the closed magnetic circuit structure can also effectively eliminate the signal crosstalk. Generally, multilayer chip ferrite bead is used for input / output internal connectors (such as serial port, parallel port, keyboard, mouse, remote communication and LAN), computers, printers, video recorders, TV systems, mobile phones, etc. It can also be used between power supply circuits/analog circuits and digital circuits, or used to filter out high-frequency conducted interference between RF circuits and logic devices which are susceptible to interference.
